Is my analytics installed?
Paste a page and see which analytics tools it loads.
How to use it
- Paste the address of the page you want to check, like example.com or a link to one page.
- Press Check. We fetch that page once and read the HTML your server sends back.
- Read the list: each analytics tool we found, with its tracking ID when the page carries one.
- Expected a tool that isn't listed? Check whether a tag manager or a consent banner loads it later.
Questions
What can this checker see, and what can't it?
It reads the HTML your server sends for one page and looks inside its script tags. It can't see tags that load later: anything a tag manager adds, or anything a consent banner holds back until a visitor accepts. So a tool missing from the list may still run in a visitor's browser.
Why does it say the site didn't let the checker read the page?
Some sites answer automated requests with an error or a bot challenge, often from a firewall like Cloudflare. A blocked page tells us nothing about what the site runs, so we say so instead of guessing. Try another page on the site, or open the page in your own browser and look at its source.
It found Universal Analytics. Is that a problem?
Google stopped processing Universal Analytics data in July 2023, and in July 2024 for Analytics 360 properties. A UA tag still on the page collects nothing you can use, so it is dead weight. Remove it, and measure with Google Analytics 4 or another tool.
Is it bad to run two analytics tools at once?
Mostly it costs page speed. Each tool loads its own script and sends its own requests, and their numbers will never match exactly because each counts a little differently. If you only read one dashboard, keep that tool and remove the others.
How do I install Peeko?
Add one script line to the head of your pages, or paste one prompt into your AI coding agent and let it do the work. Run this check again afterward and it should say Peeko is installed.
Analytics you can set up with one prompt
Peeko is simple, cookieless analytics for people who build. Paste one line, or ask your AI agent to do it.
